Nalpamaradi Taila (नालपामरादि तैल)

A classical Ayurvedic formulation revered for its skin-brightening, complexion-enhancing, and healing effects.

Nalpamaradi Taila is a traditional Ayurvedic herbal oil prepared using the bark of four Ficus species, along with turmeric, vetiver, and other skin-soothing herbs in a base of sesame oil and cow’s milk. It is mentioned in the classical texts, such as Sahasrayogam and is extensively used in South Indian Ayurvedic skincare traditions.

Key Ingredients (Common Herbs Used)

  • Chandana (Sandalwood): Cooling, antiseptic, and soothing to the skin.
  • Vetiver (Usheera): Refreshing and pacifies aggravated Pitta.
